Every intimate service is performed with the utmost professionalism. Please treat your appointment like a medical visit. Hideaway maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct and reserves the right to end a service immediately if it is not respected.
There is some sensation, especially the first time, but it is brief. Our licensed aestheticians work quickly in small sections and hold the skin taut to keep discomfort to a minimum. Most clients find it far more tolerable than they expected, and appointments get more comfortable over time as hair grows back finer.
Hair should be about a quarter inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice, which is usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving. If it is longer, we can trim it first for greater comfort. If it is too short, the wax or sugar cannot grip it fully.
Wear whatever is comfortable. You will undress from the waist down for a Brazilian, and we provide privacy and draping throughout. Loose, breathable clothing is a good choice for afterward so the skin can settle comfortably.
